“Throne Room was my first piece based on visions shown to me by Holy Spirit. In this vision, an angel appeared to me. It was tall and narrow and so bright and sparkling I couldn’t see features. It and took me to see a room made of gold that was smooth and warm and filled with golden thrones as far as the eye could see.
“I was filled with such strong feelings of love and gratitude for this gift. It was overwhelming. I felt like if I stayed there long, I would disintegrate, but Holy Spirit spoke to me, saying, ‘Not yet.’
“I experienced the deepest peace I have ever felt as I returned to my room. It was then that He told me that I was to do art for Him, to create this piece of artwork, and to use gold leaf and to find sparkling beads and glass to add to the work. I’ve been following His instruction ever since.”
